As part of the inaugural showcase of Cool Cats Goes Large, we are organising the Foundation network for a Richard Bona concert at the Grand Ballroom of JW Marriott on 6 November, from 8pm.
Richard Bona is a Grammy Award-winning bassist and vocalist, known for his wildly inventive solos on the electric bass and his hypnotic arrangements of African polyrhythms. Nicknamed “The African Sting”, Bona’s fusion of diverse genres and cultures from Jazz, Pop, Bossa Nova, Afro-Beat and Funk, makes his music unique and exhilarating.
Donation/cover is $128 (same as the general VIP ticket), but only Foundation guests will have exclusive access to the mezzanine space with a direct view of the stage. It will include wine sponsored by Angra Wine & Spirit. Part of the proceeds will go to the Foundation, which is an arts charity.
Foundation guests will also be invited to an exclusive special after-party at Cool Cats, for a Meet-and-Greet with Richard Bona.
