The venue was completely sold out and the 89-year-old Omara had the crowd eating out of her hand. Buoyed by the enthusiasm of the crowd, Omara broke protocol and returned for an extra hour of performance. This would be Omara’s final world tour.
As a supporting partner, The Foundation organised a special champagne event with Kempinski for our network of patrons, followed by a personal encounter with Omara backstage. In this unique fundraising model, part of the proceeds from the evening went to The Foundation’s projects in the arts.
