The Foundation x Mikkel Myer Lee

Foundation for The Arts and Social Enterprise is proud to support piano prodigy 12-year-old Mikkel Myer Lee in his attempt to make history as the youngest musician to perform all of Beethoven’s 32 piano sonatas.

The soldout audience, which included Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat (left), Mikkel Myer Lee (centre), Foundation for the Arts & Social Enterprise Founder and Director Michael Tay (right), prominent businessmen donors, and many families with children who learn the piano, were dazzled by MIkkel’s technical prowess.

In his IG post, DPM Heng described Mikkel’s first instalment of this series as ‘a joy’ and that  ‘Mikkel’s artistry and depth truly brought Beethoven’s music to life’.

As Mikkel continues to reach new milestones, The Foundation is committed to supporting his artistic journey. His next major performance will take place in Amsterdam in April 2025, marking another significant chapter in his promising international career.

Mikkel’s remarkable talent and dedication exemplify the spirit of artistic excellence The Foundation strives to nurture.
