Richard Bona Concert – A Collaboration between The Foundation and Cool Cats

Share

The inaugural showcase of Cool Cats Goes Large kicked off with the Richard Bona Concert at the Grand Ballroom of JW Marriott Singapore South Beach on 6 November. Cool Cats Goes Large is a new concept by Cool Cats, the latest jazz venue in Singapore, to magnify the jazz club experience.

As a supporting partner, The Foundation hosted a special event for our network of patrons as part of a unique fundraising model, which channels part of the proceeds from the evening to The Foundation’s projects in the arts.

The Foundation’s guests were treated to exclusive access at the mezzanine level, with wine sponsored by Angra Wine & Spirit, as well as an exclusive special after-party at Cool Cats, for a Meet-and-Greet with Richard Bona.

Richard Bona is a Grammy Award-winning bassist and vocalist, known for his wildly inventive solos on the electric bass and his hypnotic arrangements of African polyrhythms. Nicknamed “The African Sting”, Bona’s fusion of diverse genres and cultures from Jazz, Pop, Bossa Nova, Afro-Beat and Funk, makes his music unique and exhilarating.
