
As an artiste, he has shared the stage with D’Angelo, Babyface, Gentle Bones, and Charlie Lim at Singapore International Jazz Festival, Mosaic Music Festival, and Soulfest among others.
His latest album “Slow Life” garnered well over 1 million streams on Spotify and was featured on NME Asia, Men’s Folio, Bandwagon, The Straits Times, and CNA.
He is currently a lecturer in the School of Technology for the Arts at Republic Polytechnic.
Foundation for the Arts supported the release and music video for ‘La Di Da’ the focus track of ‘Slow Life’ album. The music video juxtaposed the seriousness of the song with comedic acting from both Dru Chen and Joel Tan.
He also joins the UTOPIA Reimagined Series, an annual music commissioning programme of award-winning local artists and bands, to reimagine the Singapore-inspired UTOPIA Symphony in their own styles.
